The Western Region NC TSA Conference on Friday, February 22nd was a huge success despite the weather. Approximately five hundred students from 30 schools from Charlotte to Winston to Sylva registered for the conference which featured VEX Robotics and 40 other TSA events. On the day of the event, seventeen of the schools braved the icy roads to participate in the STEM-based events. Approximately 300 students from 17 schools ended up attending the event.
The event was hosted by the ASU TECA (Technology Education Collegiate Association) chapter and the Technology Education program. Both are housed in the Department of Technology and Environmental Design at Appalachian State University.
